Interview | R&B Icon Adina Howard Talks New Music, Sisterhood

Adina Howard is most famous for her platinum-plus, chart-topping female anthems, “Freak Like Me,” T - Shirt & Panties” off her 1995 debut, Do You Wanna Ride?. Many say that Howard is one of the early pioneers of sexual expressionism for women of color. Today, she's a wife, chef, motivational speaker, and a business woman. "My spirit, heart and mind are in two completely different places now, I'm a grown ass woman", states Howard.

She's released a new single and visual to "Blasphemy" the lead single from her newest project “Resurrection.”..

Pressed had the chance to speak briefly with Ms. Howard on Sisterhood, Life, Love & Music.
